ANNIVERSARY BALL.
AIR TRAINING CORPS. The ball to celebrate the first birthday of the No. 24 Squadron of the Air Training Corps, held in the Orange Hall on Saturday night, Avas a success. Among those present Avere members of No. 15 Squadron, Timaru. Music was supplied by an Air Force band, with extras by Corporal P. Vincent and Mr B. Gabites. Corporal P. Vincent was Master of Ceremonies. A personal Monte Carlo Avas won by Cadet Eric McLauchlan and Miss Frances Montgomery. Although 20 members are hoav serving Avith the Royal NeAV Zealand Air Force, the Squadron is still as strong numerically as when it was established.
